A Look at God's Kindness, Forbearance and Patience... (Romans 2:4)

- According to the book of Romans -

I. His kindness:

• Contrasted with all of humanity - Romans 3:12 [Most translations use the word "good."]
  
  
• It gives people the opportunity to repent - Romans 2:4 [It delays the coming of his righteous judgment against sin.]
  
  
• It is experienced by those who trust in him - Romans 11:22

II. His forbearance:

• Because of it, he left sins committed before Jesus' death go unpunished - Romans 3:25 [It was postponed. He waited until Jesus would pay for the sins of those who would trust him, instead of demanding immediate justice.]

III. His patience:

• Because of it, he endures the actions of the wicked... - Romans 9:22 [Judgment is postponed.]

** Don't despise the riches of God's kindness, forbearance and patience! **
