Wanted by God - A Few Good People

Applicants must be willing to become servants and disciples of the King of the Universe. They must be willing to lay down their lives on the altar, to give their greatest loyalty to God's kingdom and to doing his will. They must be willing to stand their ground in the heat of spiritual battle, and to not shrink back at the first sight of adversity.

Furthermore, they must be willing to abandon any claim to having their own moral "goodness," and exchange it for a goodness that comes only from God. They must be willing to admit their own weakness - their inability to please God - so that the strength of Christ can be seen for what it is. Only then will they be capable of having the strength and goodness necessary for fulfilling the requirements of this position.

If interested in this position, find a Bible and inquire within.

The "fine print":

2 Corinthians 4:7-11 - But we have this treasure [= the good news about Jesus, which we proclaim] in clay jars [= our mortal bodies], so that it may be obvious that this exceedingly great power comes from God and not from us. We are pressed by troubles on every side, yet not crushed by them; perplexed, yet not driven to despair; persecuted, yet not abandoned; knocked down, yet not destroyed. We are always bearing in our bodies the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be seen in our bodies - for we who are alive are constantly being handed over to death for Jesus' sake, so that the life of Jesus may also be seen in our mortal bodies.
