These are notes for an incomplete "Concept" page.
- Information is being added as the Bible Pages are added. In the end, everything will be compiled, further information added (as necessary), broken links connected, etc.

- See also: Sharing.
As used here, "generosity" emphasizes giving, a "one-direction" action. "Sharing" has a greater "communal" emphasis, a "two-direction" action.
This concept (generosity) also applies to how we treat animals.

Leviticus 19 (selected verses)
- You must leave some of your harvest for the poor to gather.
- Limits put on the taker. A person traveling through another person's field has a right to eat from the field, but not to take any home. This would refer to "pre-harvest" time. (After that, the poor could gather all they wanted, and take it home.)
- You must leave some of your crops/produce for others who are needy. Blessing these people is a prerequisite for receiving blessings from God!
- Psa 37:21 The wicked borrow, and don't pay back, but the righteous give generously.
- The wicked are greedy for what they cannot keep; the righteous are generous with what they cannot lose!
