- Exo 22:21 - You shall not wrong an alien, neither shall you oppress him, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt.
- Exo 23:9 "You shall not oppress an alien, for you know the heart of an alien, seeing you were aliens in the land of Egypt.
- Exo 23:12 "Six days you shall do your work, and on the seventh day you shall rest, that ... the alien may be refreshed.
Leviticus 19 (selected verses)
- Proper treatment & respect for the alien/foreigner.
- Lev 25:23 " 'The land shall not be sold in perpetuity, for the land is mine; for you are strangers and live as foreigners with me.
- Foreigners can be your slaves forever, but not fellow children of Israel.
- Psa 146:9 Yahweh preserves the foreigners.
