- Description of Manna & requirements for gathering it. They would eat the manna until they came to the borders of the land of Canaan (when it stopped forming). A jar of it was kept for future generations to see.
- A description of the manna.
- God brought forth water out of the rock of flint; he fed the people in the wilderness with manna.
- It was for a purpose: that he might humble them, and that he might test/prove them - for their own good.
- In spite of the fact that Israel deserved death instead (because of their rebellion), God sent manna (raining it down from the sky)...
